Product Description
The Aidear Stainless Steel Copper Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger is a compact, high-efficiency heat transfer device engineered for demanding thermal applications. As shown in the warehouse photo, these units feature stacked corrugated 316L stainless steel plates vacuum-brazed with copper filler material, forming a gasket-free, leak-proof assembly with multiple stainless steel ports (threaded or flanged) for easy integration. The design maximizes surface area and turbulence for superior heat transfer while maintaining a small footprint, low weight, and high pressure/temperature resistance—ideal for bulk production and storage as seen in the palletized stacks ready for shipment.
This brazed plate heat exchanger (BPHE) provides reliable, maintenance-free performance in liquid-to-liquid or refrigerant-based systems, with excellent corrosion resistance and thermal efficiency even under extreme conditions.
Product Type: Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (BPHE) / Copper Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger / Stainless Steel Plate Heat Exchanger
Plate Material: High-grade Stainless Steel (AISI 316/316L standard; 304 or titanium options available for specific fluids)
Brazing Material: Copper (standard for excellent thermal conductivity; nickel brazing optional for aggressive media like ammonia or deionized water)
Port / Connection Material: Stainless Steel (threaded NPT/BSP, soldered, SAE flare, or flanged DN15–DN150 customizable)
Operating Medium: Water, Glycol mixtures, Refrigerants (R410A, R134a, R404A, R32, CO2 subcritical/transcritical), Thermal Oil, Steam, Oils, Chemicals
Design Pressure: Standard up to 30–45 bar (435–653 psig); high-pressure versions up to 140–154 bar (2030–2233 psig) available for CO2 or extreme duties
Design Temperature: Wide range from -196°C to +200°C+ (depending on brazing material and media; customizable)
Plate Configuration: Corrugated chevron pattern for high turbulence and efficiency; single or multi-pass circuits; number of plates fully adjustable for capacity
Additional Options: Insulation jackets, mounting brackets, special coatings, double-wall safety plates, or certifications (PED, ASME, UL, KHK)
The vacuum brazing process seals plates at every contact point, utilizing nearly 100% of the surface for heat transfer—resulting in exceptional thermal efficiency, low pressure drop, and minimal hold-up volume compared to shell-and-tube exchangers (up to 90% smaller footprint). Copper brazing enhances conductivity while 316L stainless steel provides robust corrosion resistance against water, refrigerants, and mild chemicals. The compact, lightweight design simplifies installation, transport, and integration into OEM systems, with no gaskets to replace and high fouling resistance in clean applications.
