Product Description
The Aidear Industrial Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) is a modular, high-efficiency heat transfer device designed for flexible and serviceable operation in heavy-duty industrial and commercial environments. As featured in the production photo, this exchanger features a heavy-duty bolted carbon steel frame with blue epoxy-coated end plates, precision-aligned thick compression bars, multiple high-tensile tie rods for uniform plate clamping, corrugated 316L stainless steel heat transfer plates, and high-quality clip-on or glued elastomeric gaskets—allowing complete disassembly for mechanical cleaning, plate reconfiguration, or capacity adjustment without specialized equipment.
The bolted construction enables on-site maintenance and future expansion, making it especially suitable for applications with variable loads, fouling tendencies, or sanitary requirements.
Product Type: Bolted Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger / Industrial PHE
Plate Material: AISI 316L Stainless Steel (standard for broad chemical compatibility; 304, titanium, SMO 254, or Hastelloy options)
Gasket Material: NBR (general use), EPDM (high temp/water/steam), Viton (oils/chemicals), HNBR, or FDA-compliant food-grade; clip-on or glued styles
Frame Material: Carbon Steel with durable powder coat (blue standard); full stainless steel frame for aggressive environments
Connection Types: Flanged (ANSI/DIN), threaded, or welded; multi-port entry/exit configurations
Operating Fluids: Water/glycol, steam, thermal oils, refrigerants, acids, caustics, slurries, food products
Pressure Rating: Up to 25 bar standard (channel & frame side); high-pressure versions up to 40 bar
Temperature Rating: -20°C to +180°C (gasket-dependent; higher limits available)
Plate Pattern: High/low chevron angle options for different heat transfer vs. pressure drop profiles; single/multi-pass; wide-gap plates for viscous/fouling media
Options: Intermediate partition plates, sight ports, drain/vent valves, protective shrouds, PED 2014/68/EU or ASME U-stamp certification
The corrugated plate geometry induces intense turbulence, delivering very high heat transfer coefficients and allowing close temperature crosses (approaches as low as 1°C). Replaceable gaskets and bolted frame enable thorough CIP or manual cleaning, plate pack expansion/reduction, and quick gasket replacement—significantly reducing downtime compared to welded or brazed units. The design minimizes hold-up volume, improves thermal response time, and supports high flow rates with low pressure drop in optimized configurations.
