Product Description
The Aidear Bolted Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) is a highly flexible, service-oriented heat transfer device engineered for industrial processes requiring frequent cleaning, capacity adjustment, or sanitary compliance. As captured in the factory photo, this exchanger showcases a robust bolted carbon steel frame (blue powder-coated), precision-machined thick compression plates, multiple high-strength tie rods for even clamping force, corrugated 316 stainless steel transfer plates with integrated alignment features, and replaceable elastomeric gaskets (clip-on style visible)—enabling complete disassembly, plate addition/removal, and thorough mechanical or CIP cleaning without welding or special tooling.
The bolted modular construction provides unmatched adaptability: the plate pack can be reconfigured on-site to change thermal duty, and gaskets can be swapped for different media compatibility or temperature ranges.
Product Type: Bolted Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger / Modular PHE
Plate Material: AISI 316 Stainless Steel (standard for superior corrosion resistance; 304L, titanium, or nickel alloys optional)
Gasket Material: EPDM (steam/water), NBR (oils/general), Viton (chemicals), Silicone (high temp/food), or FDA-approved variants; clip-on or glued
Frame Material: Carbon Steel with corrosion-resistant powder coating (blue standard); optional stainless steel frame
Connection Types: Flanged (DIN/ANSI/ASME), threaded, or sanitary clamp; multi-port arrangements
Operating Media: Steam, water/glycol, thermal oils, refrigerants, food products, chemicals, slurries
Pressure Rating: 10–25 bar standard (channel/frame); high-pressure models up to 40 bar
Temperature Rating: -35°C to +180°C (gasket-limited; extended with special compounds)
Plate Design: Asymmetric or symmetric chevron patterns; high/low theta angles; wide-channel options for viscous/fibrous fluids
Options: Multi-pass circuits, intermediate frames, protective shrouds, drain/vent valves, PED/CE/ASME certification
The corrugated plates generate intense turbulence for very high heat transfer rates and close approach temperatures, while the bolted frame allows easy plate pack expansion, gasket replacement, and full access for inspection/cleaning—critical for fouling, sanitary, or variable-load duties. This design significantly reduces downtime compared to fixed welded units and supports cost-effective capacity upgrades without replacing the entire exchanger.
